The project «Computer in the Library»
2003-2004. The project's goal: Assistance to training computer literacy the librarians and users by opening an Educational class and carrying out educational programs in order to increase the status of a librarian, providing the users with free access to modern information resources of the Internet and building up an electronic catalogue of the library's funds.
Under the project 6 computers and a printer were received. Implementation of the project enabled us within a year to train over 200 librarians without library education from 10 areas of Fergana area the bases computer literacy and new forms of library work. 645 librarians received consultations on the above subjects.
The electronic catalogue of rare and valuable books of the library was built up.
