On June 8, 2007 the center of «Information resources on physical handicap» was visited by Thomas Bolive - the director of Handicap International programs in the CIS countries and Viola Artikova - the project manager of the «Network of information resources on physical handicap project for the civil society in Uzbekistan», financed by the European Union Commission. The purpose of their visit was acquaintance with the work of the center, the achieved results, problems arising during the work, etc.

On May 11, 2007 the sector of "Spirituality and enlightenment" together with the information-bibliographic department (IBD) have lead the «Expert's Day» for the fine arts teachers of Fergana city schools.

Events devoted to the 100th anniversary from the birth date of Uzbekistan national writer Abdulla Kahhar, took place across all Uzbekistan. In February a Decision of the President “About celebrating of the 100 anniversary of the national writer of Uzbekistan Abdulla Kahhar” came out which was a guide to wide studying of the life and work of the writer, to introduction of the humanistic ideas expressed in his works for the youth.

On May 4, 2007, on the eve of the Memory and Honor Day holiday the library hosted the Regional tournament of the chess players, devoted to the founders of the People's democratic party of Uzbekistan in Fergana region.

On March 13-17, 2007 «The literary - folklore art palette» festival of Fergana valley people was organized in Osh city (Kyrgyzia) under the Project «The Fergana valley libraries: Bridges of friendship» hosted. The festival's objective was the assistance to an intercultural dialogue of Fergana valley people.

On April 14, 2007 there was a poetry evening of a Fergana amateur poet Alexander Pronin at the ILC assembly hall.

Between February 28 and March 1 under the "People and Books" project's expanded program implemented by the Fergana regional Information-library centre (ILC) named after Ahmad al-Fargoniy with the Goethe Institute Tashkent assistance, literary meetings with a young German writer Marika Bodrozic took place.

On November 28-29, 2006 at Osh regional library named after Toktogul under the project «Fergana valley libraries: bridges of friendship» the regional library forum was held under the motto «From achievement of consent to success of actions».

On November 16-17, 2006 the Information-Library Center (ILC) named after Ahmad al Fargoniy hosted events timed to the German culture days in Fergana city.

On May 26, 2006 the Book Holiday was broadly celebrated in Fergana under the motto "My majestic motherland!" organized by the Uzbek Agency on publishing and information.
