On September 13, 2017, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan accepted PQ-3271 resolution in order to increase reading books and readers culture. Following commands were given in the resolution, setting up information about electronic books on special boards in public places and to create the ability to download on mobile devices and read it by using QR-codes.
The "My City - Ferghana" poetry evening was organized by the regional administration of the Ferghana region, the regional branch of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan, the " Ijod " fund, the Regional Library Center named after Ahmad Farghoni and the Regional Council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan.
