Presentation of books to the 2000 anniversary of Marguilan city and the 16 anniversary of Independence of Uzbekistan

The contribution to celebration of the 16 anniversary of the Independence of Uzbekistan and the 2000 anniversary of Marguilan city was made by the Republican center of propagation of spirituality and the Information-library centre. They have organized the books presentation, the publication of which was sponsored by the Center of spirituality propagation and the Scientific-practical center of National idea and ideology.

The regional mayor's house representatives, heads of various funds and associations as well as the authors of the presented books and young poets of Fergana area have taken part in the event. The event took place on July 6, 2007 in the assembly hall of the ILC. Basic attention of the participants has been drawn to the represented books and to the event celebration preparation process.

The ILC employees organized the exhibition «Uluglar beshigich tebratgan shahar» at which the material devoted to Marguilan city has been presented and the exhibition of the new books.

Everybody spoke about the role books in distribution of spirituality and about the writers' contribution to education of the new generation. So in his speech the mayor’s deputy on spiritually-educational affairs Mr. H. Abdurahimov has noted the attitude to a book in the historical past and spoke about what attitude to the book should be today.

The head of the Fergana branch of the Center «Manaviyat Targiboti» F. Zohidov presented four books published by their center. The chief of the regional press and information Agency department Mr. T. Juraev's noted that the very first distributors of spirituality are the people of creativity, they share their private world with the readers. He said that our Republic pays great attention to spirituality and that an album devoted to the 2000 anniversary of Margelan city was published and that books of over 30 authors were presented.

A chairman of the regional department of the Creative association of journalists of Uzbekistan Mr. M. Obidov spoke, as well as the chairman of the regional department of “Nuroniy” Fund Mr. U. Bekmatov and the books authors N. Abdulahatov, I. Margilony, U. Eshanboboev, etc. They spoke about that work they've done for familiarizing the young generation with the century national values, fostering the feeling of pride, respect and love to the Native land with them.

Also young poets - the members of the young writers’ circle, among which there were the winners of the “Zulfia” prize performed at the presentation. At the end of the event new books have been presented to the libraries and the participants of the event.
