On June 12, 2019, a book exhibition titled "Get acquainted with new publications" was opened at the portable library in the military unit along with the regional information and library center named after Ahmad Farghoni and the National Guard of the Ferghana City.

In order to create a portable library, more than 100 Uzbek and foreign literary publications, such as novels, stories, historical monuments and detective books, were selected from the library of ILC.

Also, experts of ILC D.Raimova told about the history of Kyrgyz writer Tulagan Kasymbekov "The broken sword" and Z.Zaripova, about the short content of our favorite writer Said Ahmad's "Horizon" trilogy, and recommended them to read these works.

The leading librarian of the abonement sector, M.Mamadaliyeva, informed about the new literature in the book fair.

The aim of the portable library was to increase the love and interest of the military to the book.
