On July 5, 2019, in the regional information and library center named after Ahmad Farghoni, an exhibition titled "Marghilan is the city of craftsmen" was organized under the heading "Tourism prospects in Uzbekistan".

Margilan has long been known as the city of famous artists, craftsmen and entrepreneurs. There are 17 craftsmen in Marghilan, their main directions are national fabrics (adras, atlas) and their production of sewing goods, national shoes, woodworking, woodcarving, skullcaps, blacksmithing, and copper. Today more than one thousand household are engaged in craft in Margilan.

The purpose of the exhibition is to familiarize the population and readers with the city of Margilan and promote domestic tourism.
