On April 3, 2019 in the Ferghana Regional Information and Library Center named after Ahmad Ferghani the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan jointly with the military unit of the Fergana region held a literary-educational event on the theme "The great ruler of the east", dedicated to the 683 th anniversary of Amir Temur's great master Sahibkiron Amir Temur. The event was attended by teachers of the History Department of the Fergana Polytechnic Institute M.Dehganova, L.Tishabaeva and S.Yuldashev, the specialist of the military department of the Fergana Regional Council of the Youth Union O.Egamberdiev, commander of the military unit 83721 of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan H.Kurbonov, servicemen and cadets of military units and active libraries. The event was opened by the director of the ILC Sh. Aslanov and gave the lecture to the teachers of the Ferghana Polytechnic Institute. M.Dehganova and L.Tishabayeva spoke about the great Amir Temur, who was a great, fair, powerful man of his time, ready to give his life for the freedom of the Motherland. For the artistic part of the event, students of Ferghana city Art College were also in attendance. They demonstrated a scene dedicated to the life of Amir Timur. After that, the second stage of the quiz on the theme of "The heritage of our great ancestors and their contribution to the development of martial arts" dedicated to the life and military art of Amir Temur took place. Four teams from Andijan, Namangan, Fergana and Kokand military units competed in this quiz. According to the results of the quiz, the team of Fergana region was awarded diplomas and memorable gifts by the military unit of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The event featured a photo exhibition dedicated to the life and work of Amir Temur, and was presented by the librarian of the spiritual and educational sector D.Nuritdinova.
